Dynamiting Busch: Ecological Effects

An architectural treasure that should last for centuries, Busch Stadium may be destroyed after only a few decades of existence. Unnecessary demolition of Busch could create massive air quality and landfill problems. Construction of a new stadium would require concrete manufactured by burning toxic waste. Host Don Fitz, retired architect Ted Berger and Gateway Green Jason Murphy discuss tens of millions of dollars that would be lost for City and County Health Departments, mass transportation and lead abatement programs. Footage by Aaron Michels captures actually existing Buschism.
