In his St. Louis talk, Michael Dorsey addresses the domination of agriculture by big business, especially Monsanto. He details dangers of allowing food production to be controlled by what he terms "recidivist corporate criminals." The Dorsey lecture was given at the 13th Great Green Pesto Feast in St. Louis on September 13, 2003. A few months earlier 23 people were arrested for involvement in protests at the World Agricultural Forum or the Biodevastation 7 conference where Michael Dorsey spoke. Kelley Meister, one of those arrested, begins the Green Time episode with a discussion of police repression.
