The refusal to purchase is one of the most significant weapons that citizens have against oppression. Norman Seay will describe the Jefferson Bank Boycott of 1963 in St. Louis. Zaki Baruti will use "Eye on the Prize" to highlight the 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott. Willie Marshall will explain how organizing into a huge consumers union can create the power to challenge racism, sexism, war and the host of corporate crimes that plague America.
