THEME: “Our Right to Safe, Affordable Homes”
Every citizen should have a home that is free of lead and mold. Eminent domain must cease, both in St. Louis City and County. As the economy slides, we must protect our homes with a moratorium on foreclosures, evictions and utility shutoffs.
But to keep utility bills low, we need to trim the use of gas and electricity. Clotheslines are free to use and inexpensive to install while clothes dryers are the home’s second worst utility hog among appliances.
