Standing Rock remains an ongoing threat to clean water and indigenous rights. Yet, it is only one of many pipelines. The self-proclaimed "pipeline crossroads of the world" at Cushing OK is the starting-point for the Diamond Pipeline. It is a disaster in the making, with hundreds of earthquakes every week. As more people become aware of fossil fuel dangers, it is important to realize that pipelines are very hard to defeat legally. Protest and resistance may be the only options. Solar and wind power pose their own problems. So, what are deep green energy alternatives?
