Americans live in an unsustainable society that is squandering resources at a rate that will leave little for future generations.
But it does not have to be like this.
We have the power to show the sort of world we want to exist.
It begins with addressing our own levels of stress, our own weight and our own activity levels.
The physical structures we live in can be examples of lifestyles that are sustainable socially, environmentally and economically.
We cannot forget to ask if eating meat is sustainable.
We need to integrate all of these into a big picture of healthy living.
The 99% must not let the 1% define our lives for us.
